Historians largely subscribe to the Push-Pull Theory of Immigration. It’s simple: people leave their homes because some factors combine to push them out. Then of course they seek a better place. So the solution to unwanted migration is either to become less attractive (as happened during the pandemic year) or try to address the root causes.

The right wing will say anything to try tl unseat Mr. Biden. They just make it up and hope it will stick. A quick GOOGLE session would tell you from multiple sources that Mr. Biden hasn’t really changed Mr. Trump’s Border policy. The only change was that he thought that returning unaccompanied minors across the border was wrong, so they changed that. But, the Border Patrol detains 6000+ people a day. That’s 180,000+ a month, something like 2 million a year.

Mr. Biden is NOT letting people cross the border. Stop the lies.

Why perpetuate that conservative lie? There are not hundreds of thousands coming across our border, and those few that do are, each and every one, checked for COVID-19.
