Mywife thinks garden gnomes are creepy, don’t know if she would consider the hoods an improvement

This reminds me of an old episode of Coronation Street.

Former neighbours had a gnome kidnapped. Over the next year they received photos of the gnome in Vietnam, India, Egypt and France and finally Newfoundland before appearing one morning one their front steps.

I wonder if they sell the modern alternative… life-size werewolf statues. You put them at the outside edge of the grassy area in front of the house, and they scare away salesmen and religious proselytizers (and, probably, gnome kidnappers as well).

They’re sold as “lawn chaneys”, of course.

Think I’d avoid the kidnapped ones, I don’t won’t be considered aiding and abetting.

I’d pay the Garden Shop $10 if they’d let me grab a sledgehammer and smash all the ugly little things to smithereens.
