Broomie sang bass, the birdies sang tenor, apologies to Johnny Cash.

They’ll give her a tenor to fly away.

Broomie’s all ’bout her bass, ’bout her bass, no treble….

That was definitely bass!

And two of the flock fell off the limb overcome by fumes.

Back when I sang, decades ago, in high school glee club, sometimes I sang bass, though I was naturally more baritone or even low tenor. We did some some specialized stuff with a sub-group I was part of, and that is where mostly I burped….
