Yet, I still do not feel that we have a fair and impartial SCOTUS.

Unfortunately, it’s a mere swipe of Flex Seal on a crumbling dike. The “ little trump boy” still gives it his finger.

Obamacare steals from American taxpayers. A huge percentage of your money, my money, and taxpayers money goes to insurance companies, where it disappears forever.

I believe JIll Stein and others pointed out that "Obama"care was really kind of a rehashed "Romeny"care. . . The court probably really doesn’t want to see a push for Bernie’s medicare for all

I was not entirely surprised by the verdict. Whoever selects the justices, Dems or Repubs, they are selecting from a pool of professional jurists. But, bear in mind that the decision was based mostly on the plaintiffs lack of injury from the ACA law as it is written. There were not making a value judgement on the ACA.

All tRumpkins should have to give up their ACA health insurance and their other government handouts.

In about two weeks the Republicans will have a better plan? The “trickle down” will be working by then.

But, but, but . . . The Republi-CONS are still working on a better plan to replace “Obamacare” and Trump promised it would cover pre-existing illness ! Now that’s something you can ‘take to the bank’ of the insurance companies for campaign contributions to the G.Q.P. (Note the SARCASM) . . .

Lost in the glare of the Obamacare decision was the SCOTUS ruling in the Philadelphia adoption-agency case that said, sure, it’s perfectly OK for Catholics to discriminate against gay couples who want to adopt children. You wanna be an asshole, but you’re willing to cite your religion as your excuse? Fine by us! It’s your own SCOTUS-guaranteed “get out of jail free” card. Claim whatever bigoted position you want, we’ve got your back. (Maybe not you, Muslims, but good Christians fersher.)

A story to explain why I am a fan of the ACA:

We had a woman in our practice who had a son with leukemia. (We didn’t do pediatrics.) He boss was a gem, told her to take all the time she needed for doctor visits, etc. About six months in, he got a letter from their insurance carrier, asking him to fire her because she was costing them too much money. He refused to do so. Two months later the insurance carrier said “Drop her, or we drop your entire company, and NONE OF YOU will have coverage.”

She lost her job, her home – and her son. Under the ACA this would have never happened. Multiply this across the country, and it probably applies to millions of people.

I’ve said it before, but I think it would be very nice if GoComics had an “ignore user” button to push, causing that user’s posts never to appear again on my screen.

It’s amazing how many commenters here have no empathy. What is needed is NOT Obamacare but universal, singlepayer healthcare like most of the civilized countries have.

FWIW, the second most expensive health coverage on a per capita basis (after the US) is Switzerland. They do have universal coverage (which we don’t), handled by private companies, but those companies are regulated on how much they can charge, and the government subsidizes those who cannot afford the premiums. They come in at about half the cost per capita compared with the US. The bottom line appears to be that private health insurance is more expensive for a society than other methods of covering health care. If one grants that a generally healthy population is a necessity for a truly successful society, it would appear that health care should not be left to private companies.

Are they referring to those who lose their health insurance, access to medications, or access to their doctors because of Obamacare?
