    I added 2 new authors in the last year and went through the opposite problem

    Not sure if I would like them, hestitant for the first chapter or so, then committed to buying the whole series from each

    I don’t read a lot, but I’ve felt that same way about some movies I’ve watched. I watched one on Netflix last night, that a friend recommended, and I expected it to be good when I started watching, but soon started being bored and ended up watching the whole thing only because my friend recommended it. If he hadn’t, I never would have watched it.

    It took me till late middle age before I could not finish a book I didn’t like. The decision made my life better.
