One day after a wet ride into the office, I hung my bike clothes on a fence beside the building. It wasn’t long before the phone rang. Apparently the fence belonged to the neighboring building.
Ours in is “Red in the evening, hope, red in the morning, sadness.” (It rhymes in French). So we are not as wildly optimistic as Frazz, we do not claim certainly. For the curious: “Rouge le soir, espoir. Rouge le matin, chagrin.”
“I don’t want to hear it.” Unspoken: “My mind is made up, don’t confuse me with the facts.” What a fine example for an employee of an educational institution.

I wonder if it’s altered the Gross Domestic Character-Building Quotient at all, or if weather is still unpredictable enough that riders (or any other outdoor adventurers) still get caught out in bad conditions — only without their just-in-case gear.
