sitting around bone idle on a lovely day when you could be doing something useful in the garden is just a sin. and if you don’t have a garden you could be doing any number of fun things other than sitting on your butt and wasting a perfectly good day…

Reminds me of what someone once said about a not-very-well-liked employee when he was on vacation…“It’s too bad Dave’s not here to appreciate how nice it is when Dave’s not here!”

I’m just wondering how that tree in the back managed to grow sideways. It doesn’t matter if you plant a tree on the side of a hill, it still grows vertical.

A little something called “RETIREMENT” can make every day like that.

Yesterday, went hiking up on the Rocky Mountain Front in Montana, with my dog. Beautiful day, had this same thought.

Remember nostalgia? I think it was the 80s. That was really the era when you could look back on the good times, before you forgot the best details.
