My Lily loves batting wadded up paper around. She loves the noise.

I came up with a game that the grandkids call trash tag. We would crumple up a ball from something in the trash bin at the park, and use it to tag the others hiding on the big play structure. Now we bring a tennis ball.

Other favorite cat toys are bottle caps, and milk jug rings. They are often preferred to expensive store bought toys.

I had a Siamese (Koko, passed 3 years ago) that LOVED to play fetch with wadded up pieces of paper. He especially liked the tissue left over from cutting out a pattern. He would sit and wait for me to wad it up and toss it. He quickly ran for it and brought it back wanting me to throw it again.

My calico’s favorite toy is a crumpled sticky-note.
