One of my complaints about GSCs is that the full package isn’t enough to share unless it’s the kind you don’t like.

Unfortunately, Caulfield seems consumed ,and indeed narrowed, by the concepts of good and bad!

A reasonably fair journey or a moderately bad journey, don’t seem to fit in his rigid world view!

We don’t have girl scout cookies fund raisers around here, so I had to do a little research. I will share to save some the trouble. A do-si-do is one type of cookie that the girl scouts sell, they look scrumptious. They are a brown cookie with a generous center of sweet peanut butter garnish. A box of cookies appears to contain two sleeves of 8 cookies. Each cookie contains 160 calories, ergo a sleeve is 1280 cals and a box, 2560 cal. The only thing left to elucidate is what is meant by a “serving size”, given that one’s total daily calorie intake should be between 2000 to 2500. Discuss…

The last time I was arm-twisted to buy those over-priced things was years ago when a co-worker would annually bring in an order book for his daughter. I feel sorry for anyone who is subjected to that while at work.

I’m thinking Lao Tzu could be paraphrased by “the premise of a thousand comic strips begins with the mention of a single aphorism.”

Today Lao Tzu might rephrase as You’re on the ride. Buckle up and prepare to be surprised

Yeah, I gotta agree with him on the serving size.

And who’s to say whether a girl scout cookie binge is a good or bad journey. Also everyone knows that a true cookie binge begins with a thin mint.

When I first tried the “premium” ice creams that were sold in pint containers I thought These are so good AND they come in ‘single serving’ containers!

I have always thought that there were only two servings in a box of Thin Mints

That’s the rule. If the package is not resealable, it’s a single serving.

Girl Scout cookies are very small.
