I don’t argue with the plain language of this cartoon. But the sentiment seems to be that ONLY Biden is concerned with safety and security, to the exclusion of other administrations. I propose that the previous administration put forth a safety and security policy with a focus on securing the border. The arms race was a safety and security policy. “Speak softly and carry a big stick” was a safety and security policy. You can’t say that only the current president is interested in keeping us safe in our homes, schools. restaurants, etc. Other presidents performed that duty, just using a different agenda.

Joe, Kamala, Secretary Blinken, Speaker Pelosi, et alia, are following their oaths and doing their jobs, too bad the Rs flunked 8th grade civics.
