The climate here in Northern Colorado doesn’t work for fireflies and I haven’t traveled much, never actually seen them

The cats would love them, maybe I’m lucky we don’t have any

Discovery can be upsetting.

We called them lightening bugs. That sorta clarifies the point at the git-go.

Be glad you didn’t accidentally eat one ;)

Looks like a little boy, acts like a little girl. But those are stereotypes.

If Eddie had said “lightning bugs” I don’t think his friend would’ve been as surprised.
