I have a similar problem with most online news outlets. It’s tough to believe they got the facts straight when they don’t proof read the story to catch the errors in spelling and grammar.

I once had a friend in university who could not properly read his diploma. He was a fantastic football player and was there on a scholarship. He took the easiest courses possible, rarely attended classes and someone else wrote his exams. Anything for sports glory. It was accepted that as long as he played football, the faculty would make sure he graduated. I will not mention what his major was…besides girls, beer and sports.
Television Closed Caption is not from the script but Voice to Text with an Autocorrupt editor. It is becoming the new source of “There’s a bathroom on the right”.
