The Chinese government should be called out for its mishandling the virus. Chip, you should know it is racist to blame all individual Asians it.

More of a USAVirus given how easily the Republicans are practically trying to give more chances for everyone to spread it again and again. A reopening of looser restrictions will not work! Stop trying!

Look, Chip, either you condemn leaders who ignored the warning signs about the virus and tried to cover up the serious risks, or you support them. You don’t get to pick and choose.

If China’s leadership needs to be held accountable for it’s mistakes in ’19/20 vis-à-vis pandemic response, the USA is right there in the same boat.

In the US, blaming others for anything and everything isa virus, as Bok proves.

Bok apparently believes that if you say it loud and often enough it becomes true. ParTICularly if your lie attempts to blame someone ELSE for your trouble.

Bok’s an idiot in this regard. But, alas, has lots of company there.

    Oh, Mr. Bok…

China has done terrible things, no doubt. But no one was beating up or spitting on Asian-Americans when the government ran over one of their citizens with a tank. No one was telling Asian-Americans to go back where they came from when China was stealing intellectual property. No one was spray-painting hateful graffiti on Asian-American businesses because of the Chinese government’s treatment of the Uighurs.

But now that—ahem—some people decided to pretend that the virus wouldn’t have come here if it didn’t originate in China, Asian-Americans are seeing their fellow countrymen in a whole different light, and vice versa.

Sorry that you can’t see the difference, and are willing to show everyone how you missed the point.

Baghdad Bok adds a false narrative here. It’s as if you were to say that RWNJ Cartoonists provide propaganda, misinformation, and hate speech, then say they eat babies. Just because the first three are true, doesn’t necessarily mean the fourth is true. Baghdad Bok may just lick babies instead.

Wouldn’t it be a kicker if it turned out the virus originated in Russia.

In the meantime the Republicans are doing everything they can to ensure more variants of Covid.

I wonder how many people realize that the Spanish flu of 1918 actually began in America?

The word ‘give’ in this context means an intentional, voluntary act. The virus emergence and spread was neither. Yes – calling it the Chinese/Kungflu is racist. One never knows with chip whether he cannot discriminate the nuances of language – or has mastered them for wingnut b.s.

Capitalism shall henceforth be known as the American disease. Anyone in a country other than America is expected to punch an American if it hasn’t spread wealth to them. That is the equivalent of what is happening here with Covid. That is why it is racist.

Out of ideas, back to pitching the “China virus.” Bless your heart, Bok. I thought name-calling made sense when I was 9 years old, but hey, that’s me. The idea that we need to be on higher moral ground to be able to effectively counter China is just beyond this cartoonist.

The U.S. corporations, and their executives, who out-sourced American manufacturing and engineering jobs to China are still raking in the profits… and chuckle as they get Americans to pay more attention to China’s side of their deal…

If Bok doesn’t know the difference between the recounting of facts and a derogatory term, he’s even dumber than we thought. But his fans will accept it as wisdom, so there it is.

Does Chip have trouble distinguishing crimes from natural phenomena? Does he think that it is not racist to attack Asians in the street for something they had no part in creating or spreading?

The covid-19 virus, like everything else we have gotten from China (if that is indeed where it originated), was not forced upon us, but was enthusiastically imported by Americans, including and especially by ex-President Donald Trump.
