It really is a cult these days. That golden statue, I EXPECT Moses to come down from the mountain any day and for the earth to open up and swallow them as they dance around their false idol.

The stage isn’t drawn correctly. Where is the fascist nazi symbol? Sorry, but that stage wasn’t put together that way on accident. The resemblance is to spot on.

The stage at CPAC is in the shape of the National Socialist Movement’s Odal.

“In November 2016, the leadership of the National Socialist Movement announced their intention to replaced the Nazi-pattern swastika with the Odal rune on their uniforms and party regalia in an attempt to enter mainstream politics.”

He’s very much like an elephant only in the fact that he consumes much, digested little, and craps out a ton (much of which would have been useful if only digested). The party symbol however is now the jellyfish – spineless, brainless, slimy, stings any and all around it (friend and vie exactly alike), and is quite repulsive. Virtually useless out of its specific environment.

The Organizers of the CPAC are “Bitterly Denying” the similarity of their stage to the NAZI Rune, which means:

#1: THEY DELIBERATELY PLANNED IT THAT WAY,

THEY ARE PISSED THAT “The Libs” DECODED THEIR NONE TOO SUBTLE MESSAGE TO THEIR MEMBERS!!

A golden statue of Donald Trump that has caused a stir at the annual US gathering of conservatives was made in Mexico – a country the former president frequently demonized.

The statue is larger than life, with a golden head and Trump’s trademark suit jacket with white shirt and red tie. Video and pictures of the tribute being wheeled through the halls of the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) in Orlando, Florida, went viral on Friday.

The conference is seen as a vital gathering of the Republican right, and this year has become a symbol of Trump’s continued grip on the party, despite being cast out of office after two impeachments, seemingly endless parades of scandals and a botched response to the coronavirus pandemic that has cost half a million lives in the US.

Now the artist behind the huge statue of Trump – Tommy Zegan – has revealed that the object was made in Mexico; a country that has been the target of much Trump racist abuse over his political career, and somewhere he has literally sought to build a wall against.

“It was made in Mexico,” Zegan told Politico’s Playbook newsletter. Zegan, who lives in Mexico on a permanent resident visa, described the transport of the monument to CPAC in full to Playbook.

Politico reported: “Zegan spent over six months crafting the 200lb fiberglass statue with the help of three men in Rosarito. He transported it to Tampa, Florida, where it was painted in chrome, then hauled it from there to CPAC.”

Y’all realize that The Former Guy is just raising funds for his legal defense fees, right? I honestly don’t think he’s going to run again; he’s discovering the joys of running the New ReTrumpublican Party from the sidelines.

KURTASS’ comment has got me thinking…the american fascist party needs a symbol, all their own. The swastika still gets some people going, the Italian ’’Fasces’’ not so bad, but not good. What ikon could these fine men and women, use to show their contempt for all the other humans?

    Any ideas?

4 years of sexist miscogynist xenophobic racist anti-Christian rantings from the former guys and his boot-licking followers. Please, by all means, keep it up at CPAC and beyond and we’ll not have to worry about having a Republican party much longer.

Have y’all looked at that statue? It’s a joke (a bad joke). The figure is stunted relative to the head, dressed in what look like Bermuda shorts with a US flag theme and what look to me like flipflops on the feet. Grotesque is about the only adjective I can find that comes close to an accurate description of it.

And a mumber of Americans when faced with facts will wake up one morning and go, "Why does my CPAC mask smell and taste like a load a sh**?“ Sleep tight America, your tRump’s Leibstandarte is on guard (right from their parents’ basements, some isolate cabins, and several ranches that could be a bit far off of the beaten path – or Cancun if only he hadn’t gotten caught).

Please keep in mind that Trump is only a recent symptom, and not the cause, of this pandemic. The republican party has, for a longtime, been very bigoted, especially since the Dixiecrats decided that joining “the party of Lincoln” was preferable to staying (nominally) with a party pushing “equal rights”. If you want to see their goal, look at the Chinese crackdown on Hog Kong democracy protests and protesters. I do not like conspiracy theories, but I think that there is some group in the shadows behind the republican assault on our Democracy, and they may not be locally grown.

Trump has always been a media hound. Now he’s had a taste of real power and he’s drunk on it. He is truly mentally disturbed and a danger to everyone around him and a bigger danger to the country. No I’m not a doctor but anyone but his worshippers can see this man is sick.

C-Span “Live” coverage was to start here at Noon and run until 2 PM for Trump’s CPAC speech. I kept flipping back and forth between PBS special of old Doo Wop groups and C-Span waiting for “former President Trump to appear soon”. C-Span finally got Trump on shortly before 2PM after showing the CPAC group waiting and waiting while music like "YMCA and other tunes blared to the gullible waiting for the Second Coming of the Chosen One. It’s now 2:45 PM and it looks like maybe the “Live” video may have a few skips or possibly edited at one point as Trump moves quickly ?

My hip waders have filled and Trump has said everything most people expected . . . Me, Me, Me, . . . I did everything right, Biden is BAD, etc,

He only pulled 55% of the votes in a straw poll at the CRAP… 55% of a party that has less then 24% of the registered voters… that’s 13.2% of all voters in America.

I’m not fretting. In spite of how horrid the GOP’s drift – nay, rush – to the wacko right, it is reassuring to watch the party disintegrate. The GOP will become just a collection of state and local figures. While those influence DC a good deal, the GOP’s direct Washington power is bleeding out.
