Part of my Florida Emergency kit – a must in the house in case of hurricanes ( Been through ‘em. Trust me, I know what I’m talkin’ about ), – aside from lots of extra drinking water, flashlights, candles, dry food goods, etc. was a couple of extra full propane tanks for the barbeque grill.

When Hurricane Charlie hit, we were without power and water ( I was on a well ) for almost two weeks. Because I had my Weber gas grill, and extra propane tanks, we were able to have hot meals, coffee, and hot water throughout the duration.
