Couldn’t find it? Turn around, left, left, left, left. How can this rodent be smart enough to turn the device on and text but not figure out this maze?

The painting shows 14 across, not 22. 14 across will divide evenly into 112; 22 won’t. Getting the math right doesn’t disrupt the rhythm of the doggerel

Beautiful tribute to a truly great American, Michael Cavna. Thank you so much.

  4. 3 months ago on Red and Rover

Maybe they’re not actually pretending to be on Romulus. They’re just following Scotty to get “home,” and in the Star Trek world of their imagination, the archaic saying, “When in Rome …” has become the contemporary, “When on Romulus ….” In other words, this serendipitous Scotty is bringing them home via the sidewalk because Red apparently knows he and Rover can’t be “beamed” home.

It’s all Rover – compare the first and last panels. What is misleading is that there’s no hint of sunset in the sky coloring of the next to last panel as Rover leaves the house to rejoin the chase.

What does an insectoid need with breasts?

If the poor, unsupervised dog had done any real damage, he wouldn’t be there to wear the muzzle.

The doctors’ names are the stage family names of the Three Stooges. Moe Howard (Horwitz) and Larry Fine (Feinberg) were the two regulars, and Shemp and Curly Howard (Horwitz) were the third stooge at various times.

OK, we have spoiled and humanized our 7th dog since we got him just before 2019 began, but I don’t get the lamb reference at all. I at first thought they were making a pretense at worshiping Ludwig and the lamb was some Christian reference, but …And yeah, I’m way behind reading this.

In what sense was Cassatt a Chilean?
