well played, Snoopy, show them who’s boss!

The first word Snoopy typed brings back a feeling of nostalgia. Was the year 1974 still prior to the women’s movement, so that you automatically assumed in your correspondence that the editor of a magazine would be a man.

The magazine’s going to write back “Fine! Take your money (and your terrible stories) and go elsewhere! We don’t care!”;D

You could put an “Alfred E Neuman” sticker at the bottom on the letter.

Magazine? What is this magazine they talk about? Is it some kind of an app?

Submitting a story with a threat…interesting strategy, Snoopy…

They never really read their fan letters. I wrote a letter to Nickelodeon Magazine once and all I got was a random reply postcard.

May 1966: “Dear Sir or Madam will you read my book. . .” “Paperback Writer” by the Beatles.

Since they print the name of the Editor(s), even then the letter should have been addressed to the correct editor by name. Beyond that, we don’t have good generic titles that don’t stilted.

Yeah, Snoops, deprive them of the extra two dollars a month. That’ll show ’em!

A few days later, Snoop gets a cancellation form in the mail… With a self-addressed, stamped envelope…
