When you find a Democrat openly saying or directly approving of asassinating the leadership of the GQP or inciting sedition, then you’ve got a talking point. Plenty of Republicans with beyond-nutty ideas, but they’re not being brought up for discipline. Kathy Griffin was punished more harshly for less.

When I see a Democrat spewing nonsense about baby-eating n pizzeria’s or space laser causing wild fires, or rubbing the crotch of a Trump carboard cutout, I’ll vote against them, too. Or, I’ll ask my representatives to strip them of their committee assignments, and even expel them from their office.

So far, only Republicans have been that whacked-out enough to require that type of treatment. Greene and every other Q-supporting official should be removed from public office.

I may get in trouble for this, but I think the Democrats should have left Greene up to the Republicans. They wouldn’t have done it, but they would have looked really bad. Let her foam at the mouth and make a public spectacle of herself and show what the Republicans welcome into their party.

I’m often inclined to leave a snide, snarky remark here as my first impulse, but I try not to.

Ramirez, you want to compare Greene to any one particular individual, go for it. It is GARBAGE to try and compare Greene’s specific, hate filled, ignorant mental illness in any general way to ideas from the Democrats.

I want to believe that Greene is the aberration in the GOP and not the rule. We had better hope that I am right and that the rest of the GOP follows someone with a little bit of sanity and not the wacko-bird from GA.

    ANOTHER Ramirez “let-the-gullible-readers-fill-in-the-blanks” efforts.

Ramirez has the wit to list the “nutty ideas,” but NOT the BALLS. RATIONAL, intelligent, educated, & experienced patriots don’t deem them “nutty.” They subscribe to the U.S. Constitution AND to the Preamble, which clearly communicates the intentions of the framers. Those intentions often conflict with the wishes of Corporate America & of the GOP Leadershit, which has shilled reliably for Corporate America since 1945.

The GOP Leadershit has no interest in forming a More Perfect Union, where it cannot pit the “haves” against the “have nots,” for there would be far fewer “have nots.”

The GOP Leadershit does not wish to Establish Justice. It appoints unqualified candidates to federal district & appellate benches, political lapdogs & lackeys as U.S. Attorneys, & abrasively narrow-minded pawns to the SCOTUS; even forcing a Justice to retire in order to create a vacancy. The GOP Leadershit abets the President’s granting pardons to incriminating witnesses, corrupt associates, & flamboyant supporters, i.e., sycophants.

The GOP Leadershit has no interest in Insuring Domestic Tranquility. It thrives on venality, double-dealing, mendacity, blaming others for all problems, & taking unwarranted credit for all solutions. The GOP Leadershit’s métier comprises political & cultural chaos.

The GOP Leadershit relishes providing for the Common Defense, provided the government spends scads of money buying weaponry from Corporate America’s Military-Industrial Complex.

The GOP Leadershit has a superficial interest in Promoting the General Welfare & a heedless disregard for the health, safety, rights, & feelings of most citizens. It provides for itself & its peers, the absolute bare minimum for white males & some white females, & leftover scraps to those citizens who remain.

The GOP Leadershit compares Securing the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves & to our Posterity to the horizon—as we approach it, it recedes.

Mr. Ramirez, Last time I checked, no Democrat posted a picture of him or herself holding a semi automatic weapon aimed at three colleagues from the opposing party. Yes it was photoshopped, but the message was quite clear. Nor did any democrats refuse to go through the security checks at he Capitol installed after January 6. If you can cite any postings as far-fetched as QAnon believed by a single Democrat, I would be interested to hear them. Most of what the Dems say and do, they believe are for the greater good. Citing falsehoods and blatant lies are not. Talking about Hilary Clinton running a ring of child molesters out of a Georgetown Pizza parlor’s basement is not in the best interest of MTG’s Georgia constituents, nor is it a reasonable argument for her to present to the education committee. Please do not equate her outrageous behavior to the progressive leaning of the opposing party members.

Calling her statements “nutty ideas” underplays the severity by a considerable margin. “(Verb) the (person)” is only “nutty” if the verb isn’t lethal or the person imaginary.

As for suggesting that most Democrats have nutty ideas… I agree, most do. Including the incredibly dumb one that the GOP actually has the good of the country at heart… or will even be willing to work toward that goal if given some incentive.

Well…….let’s take this idea to its logical conclusion Mikey. You gonna have a real close look at your own squirrels for ‘nutty ideas’? Within your own ranks: seven in 10 Republicans believe the election was stolen from their candidate; the McCloskeys, the famous gun-toting attorneys from St. Louis; Maximo Alvarez, who made a direct claim that Joe Biden is a communist fellow traveler; not to mention the Republican base — the nutty conspiracy part that believes in QAnon, the lizard illuminati, that Vladimir Putin is a defender of Western civilisation, that Hillary Clinton runs a paedophile ring in the basement of a pizza restaurant, and the more mundane but equally crazy deranged idea that all state governors, including conservative Republicans, and election counting authorities, and the courts, including the Supreme Court of whom three justices were chosen by Trump, and all the courts in states like Georgia with judges chosen overwhelmingly by Republican administrations — that these people are all in a giant co-ordinated conspiracy to steal the election from Donald Trump.

MyPillow CEO Mike Lindell’s Election ‘Documentary’ Flops:

YouTube Removed It And Fact Checkers Are Laughing

Earlier this week, MyPillow CEO Mike Lindell breathlessly predicted that if his election fraud “documentary,” Absolute Proof, failed to persuade Americans of his baseless claims of election fraud, we would soon be headed for the apocalypse.

On Thursday, Lindell told a right-wing YouTube channel that his “documentary” was a “miracle” that would reunite America as “one nation under God” again, but if it didn’t catch on with people, then the “end times” would be near.

What of the actual content of the “documentary”? VICE News reporter Paul Biest sat through the two hour film, and observed that Lindell’s claims just recycled the failed arguments that Trump’s multitudes of lawsuits flung at dozens of state and federal courts across the country, all of which failed.

These include the claim that 66,000 underage people voted in Georgia, when the number of people under the age of 18 who requested a ballot was actually four, and all of them turned 18 prior to November 3, according to Raffensperger’s office. Lindell also claims that 10,000 fake ballots were driven from New York to Pennsylvania, an unfounded claim based on the testimony of a man who believes he’s being haunted by ghosts. …

Throughout the movie, Lindell interviews various fringe witnesses and what he claims are “cyber forensic experts” that “these machines were used by other countries to steal our election.” These guests included multiple former Rudy Giuliani witnesses including retired Col. Phil Waldron, who made the ridiculous claim that nearly every single vote cast in Arizona’s Maricopa County was potentially fraudulent, and Dominion IT contractor Melissa Carone, the IT contractor for Dominion whose disastrous testimony before the Michigan Legislature went viral in De

“Does Lindell’s documentary provide what the title [Absolute Proof] promises?” Poltifact asks, offering the blunt answer: “No.”

     •  Reply
  46. Agent gates
Radish the wordsmith  about 3 years ago

In total, Politifact ranked five separate claims from Lindell’s “documentary” as “False,” noted one other one was “not based in fact,” and regarding one particularly outlandish claim that the “Chinese Communist Party” had “ownership of the private equity firm whose board controls Dominion,” Politifact linked to multiple other fact-checkers that had debunked that specific falsehood.

The New York Times’ James Poniewozik called Lindell’s film “TV’s latest, most outrageously paranoid conspiracy-thriller” and a “two-hour-plus disinfomercial” in an article titled “The MyPillow Guy’s Fever Dream.”

“The content of Mr. Lindell’s stolen-election case poses a challenge for a newspaper reviewer,” Poniewozik noted, “because it is hogwash, widely discredited hogwash, and it can be irresponsible to spread the specifics unnecessarily, even to debunk them.”

Perhaps the best assessment was by Rafi Schwartz for Mic, merrily suggesting that the Academy Awards should create a new category, “Absolutely bonkers vanity project that made me laugh so hard I almost choked,” because Lindell’s “documentary” would be sure to win.

Declaring Absolute Proof “one of the funniest films of the year,” Schwartz wrote “the Pillow Man has created a piece of absurdist art so unintentionally hilarious that I have absolutely no regrets about spending the better part of my morning watching it. And frankly, that’s about the highest praise I can offer pretty much anything these days.”

And so, he encouraged his readers to watch the “documentary” themselves, if they have two hours of free time, “and feel like diving head first down this incredibly stupid rabbit hole.”
