Not really, the scary ones are those Republican who are refusing to do an damned thing about her other than offering weak excuses for not acting to remove her from office, or even doing as little as censuring her.

Republican courage is shown by their secret ballot on whether or not to remove Cheney from her leadership position. They didn’t remove her but were afraid to let their voters know who did and who didn’t want her gone.

Republicans openly call for the murder of democrats.

They have made themselves into the enemy of American democracy.

Let her keep simmering. By 2022 she will be at full boil and probably be the best campaigner for the Democratic ticket.

Already several dozen former GOP officials have announced their departure. Actually, many said that the party left them and is now a cult. Good decisions other than the fact that it took them months and an insurrection to get here.

I’m tiring of maligning the elephant as representative of the GOP.From now on, I’m recommending the GOP be more up-to-date in representation: the party of covid. Let the virus molecule henceforth be ever-more their representative.

The “Republicans” are now the expatriated citizens of the QAnon conspiracy theory “matrix” with strong fascist, anti-equality, anti-fairness, anti-truth, anti-democracy LOYALTIES that cannot be overturned by logic or reason. The fear of changing population demographics has driven them mad.

That was pretty much her defense about an hour ago.

She unhinged her jaw and went: (paraphrased)

“News media shares the blame for the misinformation that I was allowed to believe in.”

“Democrats share the blame for the vitriol and hate that i spewed. Because they call us nazis and racists when we tell them we want to kill them and kick them out of the country.”

“This is cancel culture. If this MOB of democrats are allowed to remove me they will remove every republican!”

“They support the violent antifa, but act victims”

“The democrats never bothered to approach me and have conversations with me, just because i called for their execution and supported the group that attacked the highest government building.”

“Im a woman of god, i love god. Im Christian woman who loves god and loves our children of god!”

“Im not xenophobic, but immigrants killed some of my friends children!”

“Im a simple country Christian women who was ALLOWED to believe in misinformation. Its not my fault at all!”

“The media is to blame just as much as qanon!”

And no repug voted to remove her, and repugs gave her a standing ovation during their closed door meeting yesterday.

I’m not a big fan of either political party, but the Republican Party has adopted idiocy and cruelty as its platform.

And now Greene claims she is no longer a follower of QAnon. Clearly she has been coached on what to say to dodge her criminal actions. Boot her out.

The situation in rural America has been deliberately designed by 1%ers to produce MAGAts. They own the news outlets that broadcast the conservative propaganda, and use them specifically for that purpose. In some states, you can’t get much else, and the talk radio is even more insane than Faux news. The main stream media has spent that same amount of time trying to be fair- presenting information they know to be questionable at best on equal footing with the truth, but the propaganda outlets still teach their listeners to distrust them. A lot of the people who are in the Faux bubble would really have to put out some serious effort to get some contact with reality, while they are constantly bombarded with conservative propaganda, including out and out lies. And, the people they have coffee with, go to church (or the bar) with etc are dealing with the same situation. That means that real people that you know and trust are backing up what you are getting from the propaganda machine.

Now, consider the possibility that the world you live in is not only being exposed as fake by the real news agencies, but Faux news has now decided they can’t keep up the hoax and will have to get real on a somewhat regular basis. You are faced with the situation of having lived in a farce your entire life. Can you imagine how frightening that would be? Especially to a person who is retirement age and the world they have lived in their entire life isn’t real? Yes, it is somewhat amusing if you are a really nasty person, but if you aren’t take some pity on them and try to help them. They didn’t create the problem, the 1%ers did, and our hating each other is just what the rich need to keep us from noticing that our hatred should be for those selling the lies, not for those who believe them.
