Stopping hate speech is censorship? STFU :)

What censorship, pray tell? Whereas some Dem House members are calling for Rep.Greene to be removed from her committees for her very divisive and ludicrous speech, Biden, to my knowledge, has taken no stand on the matter. He has enough going on with reversing Dump’s decisions and getting vaccines into more arms.

Same thing applies for “censorship” by privately owned social media companies…

If the conservative talk shows and websites actually spoke the truth then their wouldn’t be an issue. Of course if they did, they wouldn’t have much to talk about. It’s not about having a different view. It’s about trying to use wha tthey call the alternative facts as truth.

If I go somewhere with a lot of people and stand up and start shouting things that are guaranteed to start people fighting against each other, then the police come and take me away for inciting a riot. Is that censorship? How about if I do it in a large factory and the private security removes me from the property. Is that censorship?

What kind of American wouldn’t accept people dying and being injured so that hate speech which incites violence can be freely posted on Twitter? I am pretty sure that one of the founding fathers specifically said that Twitter and Facebook are constitutional rights.

I see them complaining on TV all the time, all these people talking about how they’ve been censored. Fox propaganda spouts it almost 24/7 on the broadcasts carried by Armed Forces network, then there’s OANN and Newsmax., not to mention the thousands of websites like Daily Caller, WSJ, Breitbart, Info Wars, and others of their ilk. Then there’s the guests on CNN, MSNBC, CNBC, opinion columns on the NYT, WAPO. The complaints about “censorship” is almost blinding and deafening by the way it is ubiquitous and transmitted over cable, print, and websites.

Suppose the Klan started a Twitter-like social network. I guess they could call it Kwitter or Klatter or Klaptrap, something like that. Then, suppose someone started doing a daily post about Black Lives Mattering, with perhaps links to news stories about Black men and women accomplishing great things (think George Washington Carver, Barack Obama, WEB DuBois, Kamala Harris, etc.). I imagine that account would be shut down, and kwikly.

Now, I wonder, would Lester make a fuss? Should he make a fuss? I mean, it is censorship, but it isn’t the government.
