Dopey me! I didn’t get the falconry connection until after reading the comments… then had to look up “unfledged falcon”, to get the whole thing. Second thing I’ve learned from comics this AM. (See “Frazz”)
Reminds me of the chimeric Kathoga in “Relic” who ran through walls just like that toward the climax in 1996. A high concept horror movie with lots of science and museums based on the novel of the same name. Positing the idea of the “Omega Predator”. It forms and hunts down a species that is out of control, guess which one it is hunting today.
