    You can still eat it, food doesn’t expire on a specific date

    Most food can be eaten several days to weeks after the sell by date, in some cases much more time

    More fun to hide in the backyard somewhere for a few months then open it up. I tried to blackmail my folks into sending me to the movie threater and pizza afterwards. threatening to open a two year old container of something in the garage fridge. That did not end well. The neighbor asked my dad why would we have all the windows wide open when it was below freezing.

    The vast majority of expiration dates are so manufacture can sell more stuff.
