Wow! Does this mean Varvel makes over $400,000 a year as a cartoonist!?

I think there are 250,000 Americans lying in cemeteries. I think a great many of them would still be alive if we had leadership not denial. Screw the hoax master. Not literally. Would not ask for that great a sacrifice.

If it weren’t so damn IRRITATING, it would be funny how much the right wingers hate AND STILL HATE Obama and all his works. And lie about it, of course. “Trump’s” economy for the first 3 years at least was the doing of the prior administration. I’d REALLY like to see what happens when Biden has both the House and the Senate to work with … instead of against. We need to send some more $$ to Warnock and Ossoff campaigns in GA…

Wasn’t it Obama that was given a very sick economy and wasn’t it Obama that gave Varvel’s little hitler a healthy economy?

The definition of insane is trying the same thing over and over, hoping for some other result. Both the parties do this, though they do get something like the hoped-for result often enough (not very) to keep them thinking that surely, this time it will work (again).

One other tiny thing Varvel and Trump Disciples do not notice: the incredibly long lines of hungry people.

Makes perfect sense when your definition of fast growth is unsustainable tax breaks for the billionaires, and robbing from the future for the short term profit taking.

Well, in a short while those temporary tax cuts for regular folks do expire (blame will fall on Biden) while the permanent tax cuts for the ultra-rich will live on. But I have no sympathy for anyone who’s bringing in $400,000+ per year. They are not worth that much more than nurses or teachers or anyone else. And risk-taking is not a metric for worth.

Varvel would do well to check out the growth charts starting when Obama inherited yet another Republican economic mess. Give me a handout of a couple of trillion dollars and I’ll make the economy look fantastic as well.

The reason the economy didn’t grow any faster than it did was because the Republicans in Congress fought Obama tooth and nail to try to make him a one term president.

Gary’s having a hard time dealing with the loss of his Dear leader. He has to try and resurrect old, debunked memes from the very grave he’s accused Biden of robbing. I think it’s a reflection of Varvel’s guilty conscience.

It’s looking like the next four years are going to be old, worn out, debunked memes from Varvel trying to convince his followers that he’s trying to stay relevant.

Republicans make a mess (because they cannot govern). Democrats clean up the mess. Republicans = strict father family, domination culture, patriarchy, hierarchy. Democrats = nurturing parent family, partnership culture, equality for all.

Under Trump, Americans have filed for unemployment over 60 million times since March. I’d say Trump has perfected not just slow growth, but how about no growth.

I know trump likes to brag about how he brought industry back.. but has he really? With a fresh look, methinks there was a lot of smoke and mirrors that will soon be exposed.. not that trumps believers will believe though but still, facts are facts.

Varvei your attention span is abysmal. You’ve forgotten Obama was handed the worst economy since the Great Depression. Despite McConnell’s 6 year Senate blockade, Obama brought our economy back to a level so high that Trump tried to take credit. Now we have another economy in the crapper that you no doubt will blame on Biden. Pathetic. BTW you may want to wipe the kool aid drool off your chin.

In Obama’s 2nd term GDP growth averaged 2.3%. In Trump’s only term it appears it will average 1.7% a year. Apparently Gary took up cartoons after he flunked math.

According to the Republicans, deficits will matter again in 56 days and counting.

Normally people are hiring during the Christmas season, but about a million filed for unemployment last week because the economy is failing due to the endless deadly transmittable covid crises the republicans insisted on spreading around the USA instead of addressing the problem by listening to the experts.

Mitch continues to refuse to help the American people.

From this Varvel Cartoon, we now know that he has made millions off the Trump economy and the Trump programs, unlike the top 15% of the country (as measured by income). So, why does he continue to plug away with this cartoon gig?

Discounting the recession he inherited, Obama had rather good economic growth. Trump hasn’t accelerated it.

The economy under Obama recovered big-time from Bush’s recession, but Trumpers still give Trump all of the credit… while simultaneously claiming that Trump inherited an economy that was worse than the Great Depression…

Anything with Obama‘s name on it.

That huge Trump deficit will sure get the economy going. :-|

Varvel is clearly not a student of recent history!

This is funny in an unintentional way. He is complaining about slow economic growth under Obama set in the one place that has seen record growth under Trump.

One cannot have good social services without taxes. Good social services are the sign of a country/government that cares for everybody. If people don’t pay taxes, then don’t complain when the poor and marginilised come to take your goodies.

I used to think that Gary could draw better than that.

Giuliani with the paddles doesn’t look at all like the man with the dripping hair. And the text on the tombstone should read, “Trump’s attempts to ban voting (and other forms of democracy)”.
