Such a tiny girl when she’s sick. How could she ever be trouble for anyone?

Could Kevin be right, fans? Could Alice actually be a corn smut zombie?!

Unlike Beni, I will not go further with that thought.

Instead, I’ll observe how touching panels 1 and 2 are, especially Alice waving bye-bye to Miss Bliss as Madeline carries her away from her pre-school teacher and pals (even the ones who wonder if she is a zombie)….

i feel for her. Tomorrow i get a COVID test & have to quarantine prior to a med procedure next week, & cannot answer the door for the trick or treaters. i’ll miss that…. we get a lot of kids on our street because of my next door neighbour’s spook show display.

Probably is a cold, poor Alice. But I always feel sick after visiting the corn maze since I have devolped an irritating corn allergy. I blame detassling. Not that I’m going to let a little thing like itchy eyes, runny nose and a headache stop me from having fun tommorow when we go to the local pumpkin patch and corn maze.

I was sick one Halloween, when I was about 9 or 10. Worst thing in the world, it felt like. Fifty years later, what I remember most is that, when I got better, my best friend shared his candy with me.
