Spoiler warning. Leaves offer very poor bounce for landings.
Are the Olympics ready for Red and Rover?
What fun!!!
I think autumn leaves are one of my favorite smells, right up there with fresh cut christmas trees. :)
In last frame, Rover is in that playful dog stance. It’s go time, love that!
Can’t say I’ve seen any young’uns do that in ages! What memories, that was a wonderful time.
Look out below! Raking the leaves again is well worth it!
Don’t try this Over The Hedge. They hide anvils in their leaf piles!
60’s insults: Make like a tree and leave. Make like snow and flake off. Sorry it’s 3 am here. Silly time.
“Geronimo!”
You’ll poke your eye out kid….
I guess I was never that outdoorsey because I never tried that.
Not one of your best ideas, Red.
I grew up in a housing project between the ocean and a bay. Not enough trees and we were prohibited from even walking on the grass anyway.
love how Rover is waiting his turn. My dogs would not be so patient
Most fun you can have in the fall!
Impressive….
If that was Charlie Brown, there would be a large boulder Underneath with a thin layer of fallen leaves on top…
And once again we are reminded how amazing it is that so many little boys actually survive to adulthood.
Nice counterpoint to the picture that’s always on the upper left part of the page.
Brian should do a large Sunday strip for the four seasons of Red and Rover: Summer, jumping into the pool. Fall, jumping into leaves. Winter, jumping into snow. Spring: jumping into mud (as his mom runs out of the house in alarm).
I can so relate to this.
Hope there’s no anvil hidden in there!
I miss those big piles of leaves to play in.
