    Our state song is Yankee Doodle.

    No seriously. That really is our state song.

    Sadly, although we fly both the U.S. and Connecticut flags outside the building where I work, I only have the vaguest notion what the state one looks like.

    Google tells me their state song is “Beautiful Ohio”. I prefer the Buckeyes version, O-H/I-O, though admittedly less imaginative.
