Climate change and COVID-19 are not believed at all by a certain segment of the US population; maybe they ARE using the same publicist…
TBF the demographics of people travelling overseas and initially becoming subject to coronavirus are a little different to those likely to be killed by climate change. Affecting rich people helps.
The operative term is, “pandemic”.
And soon, it may be, “endemic”.
And no actions taken against it will ever have been effective or useful.
But these are lessons for the future, though the science was clear from the outset.
The same people who ignore the virus ignore climate change.

In some bizarre “coincidence”, the same people who don’t take the virus seriously, also don’t take the climate crisis seriously.
On an unrelated note, I bet worm is really looking forward to the new Dune film. I bet I know who his favorite character is.
