Biden may not have been in even the top ten of the leftists’ primary preferences (and I speak as a solid leftist, who anyone following these pages knows was 10,000% behind Elizabeth Warren, NOT BIDEN), but compared to Trump?
The one best quality about Biden is that, while he may not be as strong as we would like, at least he is someone who can unite Democrats with moderate Republicans. Many of the conservative Republicans who would never otherwise support a Democrat, such as John Kasich, Colin Powell, the McCain family, and many others, can at least get behind a moderate Democrat like Biden, whereas they would never be able to support a true leftist like Bernie Sanders or my favorite, Warren.
The dishonesty of the Trumpublicons is astounding.
Saying that Biden/Harris are left-wing is so obviously a lie that it should have scorched the image as Ramirez was drawing it. In fact, both of them are going to have to work hard to get and keep actual liberals on board. If they lose, it’s almost surely going to be partly because they aren’t liberal enough!.

I don’t have the idea that there’s broad popular support for turning national parks and wilderness areas into industrial wastelands, for polluted air and water, for uninspected meat, for larcenous “credit” schemes, for unaffordable health care, and so on and on. Maybe I’m missing something.
