Buddy L. Guapo doesn’t sound Honduran; & where is his Ox Scent?

I originally read that as "…this is my new chihuahua “Buddy L. Guapo”", not as "…this is my new chihuahua buddy “L. Guapo”" and wondered why he would have a pet dog, you know, being a dog himself.

Being a Red Sox fan, the sobriquet “El Guapo” always reminds me of Rich Garces. He used to be a relief pitcher, and his best years came with the Sox. He was very popular with the fans, and “El Guapo” was his nickname, very definitely taken from The Three Amigos movie.

Green eyes – L. Guapo is pretty cute. Everyone know most Mexicans come from Central America these days. :) Reminds me of ads for a California taco chain “Señor Taco”. In their radio ads, it’s pronounced “senior” taco. I

Back in the day when I had to be in the Army (got drafted, yeah, I’m old), they sent me to Panama (I had an MOS, thanks to college, where that was one of the few non US places I could serve). I drove because I could. I got along fine in every country I passed through. Stayed in the hotel where Howard Hughes lived in Managua. It was a strange place full of HH’s hired guards.

So that would mean Bucky is from Thailand.

Hondurans are so easily offended. Or at least, the small ones are…
