    Do you smooch?

And hug with my husband. YES.

(Virtual hugs to everyone who likes some; especially @Plods)

Turn the kid upside down in the trash can so he doesn’t have to watch.

My wife and I were doing something similar recently, and my grown daughter walked by and said, “Get a room!”. I said, “I have a room, in fact, I have a whole house. You get a room!”

This is the true parents’ delight. Grossing out the kids with PDAs. I always enjoyed seeing them run.

Smooch, hug, kanoodle with my sweetie? You bet! In front of the kids too (except for the kanoodling). They know it’s normal for us to express our love for each other multiple times a day.

Old and gross? Wait till you’re in your 60’s and Ma and Pa are in their late 80s.

While I agree that my parents were always old and gross, I took comfort in their affection (and PDA) for each other.

Funny, I have trouble identifying those young attractive people in photos with me as a young child.

My parents never showed affection toward each other. Well, just once when my mother’s mother passed I remember my dad hugged her and said “now we are both orphans.” I’ve never forgotten that.
