Small businesses typically have very tight cash flow requirements, making it hard for them to survive a long downturn like this. Unlike larger businesses who can count on being baled out by this administration.

When all this could have been avoided by having followed medical instead of political advice at the onset. Without a national leader, the states floundered and we now have an out of control pandemic where service businesses of all sizes are adapting or dying. This may well be the new normal and businesses need to adapt, not try to return to methods that will no longer work. Hiding the severity of the disease to protect the stock market at the expense of the public has damaged both the market and the public.

Funny how people like Lisa love to go on about how small business is being hurt (by this or that or something else)… but they keep on supporting politicians that don’t give a crap about small business and do everything they can to help Big Corporations drive the small guys out of business.

How about blaming Congress for allowing multi-million dollar businesses with private equity and corporate lobbying groups from taking all the money in PPP that was meant for actual small businesses that aren’t syndicated franchises. Plenty of businesses have adjusted to curbside, delivery, and walk-in/walk-out pickup; no dine-in servicing.
