Independence Day IS a white supremacist “holiday!” What’s so hard to understand about that?

Fidel Castro was certainly a racist; once he seized power in 1959 he forcibly removed every Chinese person on the island because he did not like the color of their skin.

Colin may as well work for yet another elitist capitalist corp. He’s a disingenuous attention ho…he’ll fit right in. Doesn’t look like any NFL team needs a 3rd string QB so the man needs to make his millions somehow. :)

Before Castro, Cuban pols were selling young girls to the Mafia for prostitution in their Havana clubs. After Castro, none.

He wants someone in the WH to bring him to the notice of Trump. Thinks he’ll be offered a position… maybe the acting director of VOA or a new position Secretary of Propaganda. At the very least he could be offered a position on Fox News. The couch still has room for another bootlicker.

Behold: the issue of a campaign in a tailspin. Someone, clinging to shreds, hopes a position like this will keep more people from abandoning the President.

I’m thinking Mike is finally seeing into the future and making a prediction of how America Will Be Great Again. Disney isn’t the Mickey Mouse Operation you think it is.

One thing to remember about oppressive Communist regimes, like the USSR and Castro’s Cuba. What preceded them was so bad that they made people think Communism might not be a bad idea.

Communism stinks. But nothing makes it more likely than a society with a tiny handful of rich people, and masses of poor people who don’t even have the basic necessities.

Hmmm I remember hearing a certain high ranking elected official praising the Confederacy on a day that was about America. The Confederacy was never about America as they betrayed America and tried to establish their own nation. So yeah, when you have high profile members celebrating the Confederacy on the 4th of July, that would make his tweet accurate. in that respect.

I support and defend Kaepernick’s honorable and respectful protest by taking a knee during our National Anthem.

I do not support part of Kaepernick’s statement made on ‘twitter’:“Black ppl have been dehumanized, brutalized, criminalized + terrorized by America for centuries, & are expected to join your commemoration of “independence”, while you enslaved our ancestors. We reject your celebration of white supremacy & look forward to liberation for all.”

He is absolutely correct in the first of the tweet. This Nation was built on the backs of our slaves. Several of our Founders led by John Adams and supported by slave owner Thomas Jefferson wanted “all men created equal” to apply to ALL men, freeing the slaves and making Native Americans equals in the new government. The South wouldn’t support that. Our Founders knew they likely would lose a war with the world’s super power of the time with all 13 colonies, and had no chance with only 7. The slaves and Native Americans would give up those “certain unalienable Rights” until after this Nation was established, then go back and ‘fix’ it.

A civil war and 244 years later it ain’t fixed.

I would hope that Kaepernick would see what has transpired since he first protested by kneeling, and how a short time has turned it all around. Do it again. Join in the celebration of this Nation’s Independence that was earned by your ancestors as much as anyone else’s.

“white supremacy” is a fallacy. It only exists in fiction.
