One of the nice things a out the places I worked was that dress coats and ties were considered nuisances. I tried wearing a tie one day early in my work career for appearances. And my boss said “Take that thing off.”
Husband and I work from home anyway. We have desks in a spare bedroom facing each other for our very part time professional jobs – though in normal times I go out one day a month to my last business client (accountant) who I am not sure will every reopen.
For our craft business we have a general studio off our kitchen (work tables facing each other), a wood shop in the garage, a leather shop, bolts of fabric, mat board, cutting table in the basement and the living room became “the loom room” when husband bought his first loom and started weaving – he gets the room from mid January to mid December and I get the month between for excess Christmas decorating. Dining room is used ironing. Kitchen is used for hand washing woven pieces and washer/dryer is used for washing woven items which do not need to be hand washed. Only rooms not used for one kind of work or another is the 2 bathrooms and the spare bedroom – aka the Teddy Bears’ room.
Bad design. If he’s supposed to be keeping an eye on Mimi in the backyard, most of his view is blocked off—including the pool where Mimi could drown in 2 minutes.

Must not rain there much in the Summer time. Otherwise, working in the backyard might begin to bug me.

I solved many problems while sitting out on my dock with my feet in the water.
