And, in a further attack on the citizens Trump is supposed to care for, his administration, on Thursday, asked to Supreme Court to overturn the Affordable Care Act, now that so many who have lost jobs need it. I guess that he just wants to thin the herd.

Reminds me of the very early days when women fought against demon rum. Her name was Carrie Nations and she’d go from saloon to saloon chopping up the bar with a hatchet. Wasn’t a pleasant lady even though she always carried a Bible (like Trump).

Many people said “She always had an ax to grind”.

Another movie example would be The Sixth Sense, but Trump can’t see (or care about) dead people.

When we first began hearing from epidemiologists, they warned about a second wave of infections. The current upturn in infection rate is NOT the second wave. It is simply the slow progression of the initial wave into areas that were partially spared at the beginning. The second wave will likely accompany the influenza season, and it will start in the areas that were hardest hit in the early stages, like New York and New Jersey. We ain’t seen nothin’ yet.

On the question of using masks, I’m done with asking nicely or making a joke of masks worn to protect one’s chin. It’s time to preach all into hell those that think so little of their fellows than to not wear a mask over their face including their noses.

Mask wearing protects yourself to some degree, as much as 60%, but it protects others up to 90%. I care about all of you and will wear a mask around folks to prove it.

Well, he failed three, count them, three times to dismantle the ACA through Congress. This will make a great platform for his re-election, won’t it? Reminding everyone of those failures, and tossing the ball to his hand-picked courts. . . . .

Science (medical doctors, in this case) predicted the consequences of a too-quick and too-relaxed reopening… but people still choose to turn their backs on science and go with popular and self-serving politics… science predicts that doing so will only continue to make the damage worse…

Its psychopathic murderous Republican politics as usual.

We hit the highest covid report yesterday at over 20,000 new cases a day.

Pence said there was no problem, the Trump admin has shut down covid research.

Republicans are committing crimes against humanity.

In a town hall meeting in Florida, imbeciles and lunatics (and a few showoffs who are both) attacked mask-wearing as some kind of plot from Satan (or something—they weren’t coherent, so I’m not morally obligated to understand their ravings.) One of the aforementioned showoffs blathered that masks interfere with “God’s miraculous breathing system.” It made me wonder if she thought a bandage or even a tourniquet would interfere with “God’s miraculous blood system”…….
