That was some long break. All of two seconds.

a break? That didn’t even qualify for a small fracture!

When FB first started I joined and it had a lot of issues in the first year. Then I got a virus that took me and my hubby 4 days to fix….I cancelled and have never gone back and won’t. I write to the people I met on the various boards I joined for food issues, having a place to put my daily workouts on and to keep me on track. Worked out just fine and still belong to one for my food journal etc.

GC is my FB.

My Facybook account has been dormant for YEARS and all of their “notices” go straight into my SPAM folder! As for Twittler…never had an account and NEVER will!! I have more important things to do with my life…like washing my hair, watching the birds fly by, enjoying sunrises and sunsets, etc etc…….

I guess I’m an oddity. I enjoy facebook. I would rather spend time with it than have the tv on all the time like some folks do. But, to each his own.

This and reddit is as close to social media as I get.

(irony/sarcasm warning people with a little offbeat humor!?!) I belong to anti-social media. It has rumor/gossip rooms, political lies by the bushel full, made-up news headlines, lying broadcasters, hater comments on everything, shamers, people who want to control your every thought, people who didn’t even graduate high school telling you how to live your life because they are paid to play-act, or sing, or play a kid’s sports or sit in front of a camera. OH WAIT, MY BAD – sorry I was looking at the twits I get on TWEETER. (that’s why I sit in front of my living room window, watch the goings-on outside, work occasionally on the computer, and take time to read my GC strips and make random comments.) Social media is for when I am too happy, too content, and thinking people are mostly decent and caring.

My break is going on three years. Comments on this site is the full extent.

Never Tweeted. Left FB a couple years ago. My blood pressure appreciated it. Love GoComics board folks! ;-)

My wife’s attitude. Her tablet and smart phone are always on and always on Facebook. I never use FB. Just a waste of brain cells.

It’s not like anyone noticed anyway.
