At least the protestors are doing it voluntarily and to each other. I find it hard to work up much sympathy for what they’re letting themselves in for.

The people I DO feel sorry for are the ones mentioned in today’s headline from the Wisconsin State Journal: “Officials link 7 Wisconsin virus cases to in-person voting”. That number can only go up.

    Thanks a heap, Republican legislators!

Trump wants to make sure he’s written about extensively in future history books. He didn’t consider it would be about him being the all time worst at everything.

Back to crappy health care, education, wages and job benefits. Just to get sick and/or die and share that with many, many others.. Americans sure do like to screw themselves over in a yuuuuge way.

Wishful thinking! They aren’t all going to die. Especially since it’s now established that 20%-50% of those with the virus don’t suffer (show) any symptoms.

Those Trumpers that do survive will be saying, “See, I told you it was nothing serious,” even more forcefully than before. We need to be prepared to counter that.

It’s going to take VOTES, but it’s going to take much more than that. It’s not enough to just sit back and say, “We’ll vote them out in November.” We need to be more active than that, even while isolated at home.

Don’t just pressure your elected officials. Pressure the MEDIA. Tell them you want them to cover ISSUES, not just provoke , Tell them you want to see as much of Biden as of Trump, and if that means not showing or repeating everything Trump says (or tweets), that’s what you want.

Don’t forget Trump’s greatest hits in “stopping” what I refer to as the “Trump Virus”.

Trump’s put a “travel ban” on the Chinese (while allowing over 40,000 to come into the country from China.

Trump’s “travel ban” on certain Europeans in March, while allowing travel to remain unrestricted from Britain and Ireland where even the British prime minister has been hospitalized with the virus.

Trump’s “ban” on new immigration (I haven’t a clue as what this is about, since it wouldn’t have ANY EFFECT on the Trump Virus outbreak in America).

Trump’s issuance of conditions to be met for “reopening” America, which several republican governors immediately refused to use as a guide for their reopening – all to resounding silence on the part of Trump.

Though Trump did pointedly attack several democratic governors for continuing to insist on enforcement of “Stay-at-Home” orders which were in line with Trump’s OWN GUIDELINES.

CONCLUSION: to Trump, this isn’t about American lives and American jobs; it’s all just a huge GAME of political checkers! (yes, checkers – if you put a chess board in front of him, make very sure the pawns as big enough so that he won’t swallow and choke on one when he tries to taste it to see if it’s edible – he absolutely has no idea of how to play chess – even checkers is probably beyond his capabilities!)

And it’s a game Trump is determined to win, regardless of the body count or actual financial devastation his policies (or lack of them) effectively wreak on our country!
