How do we convince conservatives that Cov19 is not the flu and that Global Warming is real?
One death at a time.
Planck’s principle:
A new scientific truth does not triumph by convincing its opponents and making them see the light, but rather because its opponents eventually die and a new generation grows up that is familiar with it. . . What does happen is that its opponents gradually die out, and that the growing generation is familiarized with the ideas from the beginning: another instance of the fact that the future lies with the youth.
I’m willing to give Ramirez credit for this one. He’s done a couple of others that suggest that he recognizes the reality of the virus and its effects. If so, good for him.
Wife’s friend said her parents booked a cruise to Spain in March, because they believed Trump’s “it’s just a hoax” propaganda… her father caught COVID-19 and died… one of the last things he said was that he wouldn’t have booked the trip if he hadn’t believed Trump…
Obviousy Ramirez is critical of those who believe that much of the panic, restrictions, etc., are due to “media hype.” I don’t think that, despite the media coverage, the virus is not dangerous, but I do know that there are recent studies discrediting the models upon which the current restrictions are based. I would more prefer to see a Ramirez cartoon noting how quickly and easily we all have yielded our freedoms, been confined to homes, shut down schools and businesses, all on orders, possibly unconstitutional, from governors and mayors.
Democrats have spent nearly two weeks blocking Senate Republicans’ initial offer to do a simple $250 billion renewal of the PPP. Democrats wanted a broader spending package that sent aid to hospitals and local governments.

Why is he wearing mittens? Supposed to keep him from pulling out his IVs? He’s clearly a covidiot, and you can count on them to do stupid things…

^ Perhaps Ramirez realized that all the refrigerated trailers “storing” COVID-19 victims in NYC were not part of a hoax!

I’m worried about Ramirez. This uncharacteristically sensible cartoon might mean he is running a high fever.

Crazy; an honest, articulate well drawn cartoon. Come join the grown-ups Mr Ramirez…

So many on the left come to read his cartoon and then change the world with their comments.

His obit from the virus is printed right under that.
