I bet you had longer hair at some point. Trouble is that so many of us have done something to their hair other than “trim”. When the roots start to show, then what? (I finessed that a long time ago by deciding that a little gray, and a little more gray and a lot more gray just made me look as distinguished as I’m ever going to look.)
If you are worried about how your hair looks ….you don’t understand how easily covid-19 could orphan your kids.
Today’s WHO situation report ( # 89) has this …
Figure 3: Distribution by age of confirmed COVID-19 cases reported to the WHO case-based reporting system from 24 February through 13 April, 2020. (n=715 130)
That figure shows that about 30% of current covid-19 cases are 20-39 years old. Today’s CDC figures show US 35,443 dead for 690,714 cases. That’s 5.13 % deaths.
Pour yourself a glass of milk. You have kids? How much does your haircut matter REALLY? Would your life insurance pay out? If you’re worrying about your hair cut, you better check.
Wife and I have been kinda working up to a try at trimming. Neither of us wants the shaggy poodle look but we also want to avoid the look of divots on a fairway. Of course, at our ages, it shouldn’t matter, but still we hesitate.
I’ll have my wife cut my hair. Who’s going to see me? I can always wear a hat if I go out. The difference between a bad hair cut and a good hair cut is about 2 weeks. I’ll do the sensible thing and stay in my house until at least then.
some people have been posting the haircut gaffes, hilarious. We are all in it together, make the best of it,. if your worried about covering the gray, buy a rinse from the essential walgreens your stylist can fix it later and you can give a bigger tip!
I was going to get a haircut right before we shut everything down. I’m going back to my 1980s college look soon, because no way am I going to try and cut my hair myself or ask my wife to do it…at this point, I could do a pompadour pretty easily. Or a mohawk…
Bummer how you have to suffer a bad haircut now-a-days! Much tougher than anybody fighting off COVID-19, or lost income, or wars in the Middle East, or any of that type of hoax…
While I understand it somewhat, I don’t live the dilemma… I noticed my hair going away while I was in basic training. I grew a teeny, tiny mustache in defense. By the time I retired, some 21+ years later, the bald spot had grown noticeably. At least the cowlick went away early in the game and I don’t miss that.
My hair never did grow very fast, I could easily go a month or more between haircuts when everyone else had to go every two weeks. I took a long leave once ,some 45 days, and that was how long it took my beard to grow in completely. I decided I liked the beard so I started another a day or two before my military retirement ceremony (no one noticed).
A few years after I retired from the service I decided to let my hair grow long… what was left of it. So I’ve been a bald man with a pony tail for the better part of 20 years now. Most of my barber visits had been focused on trimming the beard as the hair grew only so long then stopped and I quit using a barber altogether when I retired from my last civilian job.
Haven’t had a hair cut in almost 5 years and I’m actually loosing more hair than I’m growing and I can trim the beard for myself. I wish I had the barber problem to whine about, but nature dealt me a different hand. 8^)

Least of our worries. What’s wrong with long hair? To each his/her own. Whatever.

They say the difference between a good haircut and a bad one is just a couple of days.. Go wild.. it will grow out long before you can venture out

That’s a good way to force yourself into another 2 weeks of lockdown.
