Wall Street was so happy stocks surged 800 points. The Corporate Welfare State will be safe whether Trump or Biden wins in November.

Pretty ironic cartoon on the heels of a few trillions dollars of stimulus money being shoveled out the door. In a pandemic, it would seem, everyone is a socialist.

But America has been a socialist nation disguised as a capitalist, where most of the pour gets help from other pour people, – wink, wink, we say “by members of the community,” – and the wealthy helps… well, you know the rest!

This is such an odd image, of a USSR-style statue of Bernie. Sanders never made his campaign about himself.

Ramirez supports the idea that only the richest ones deserve to live and that ignorance is not just bliss but it is the goal.

Now it will take us an extra year to recover from the trump virus economy.

Ok; slowly so Ramirez and other follows of the almighty $ can understand…Bernie is not a socialist and this was not a revolution. Unless you consider it revolutionary to have your population covered for health care.

After 3 (GASP!) reasonably perspicacious cartoons in a row, it’s good to see that Ramirez has settled back into his right-wing stupor.

In the end, the majority of the ‘people’ just didn’t want what Bernie was selling. Thankfully.

Interesting how Republicans decry socialism while waiting to be bailed out by the government. Ignorant of just how much “socialism” they are quite happy with I guess.

Mike, when your false messiah went on an attention grab hinting at a presdential run in 2011- but then didn’t follow thru- his faithful didn’t go away. Bernie’s supporters contain fanatics. They aren’t going to give up the dream. We will all be seeing them again. They are a faction but, like you, they won’t change, they are locked into their view.

Oh, goodness me, no. Not at all.

First off, there are still other states to have primaries.

Second, we still have the Democrat Convention to look forward to. This year is going to be contentious. If you think that Biden is going to walk in and slam, bam, thank you ma’am, walk away with the nomination, you’re a fool.

Thirdly, regardless of who wins in November, Biden, Bernie, or even that idiot Trump, the social programs that Bernie advocates are good, strong, AMERICAN ideals. Education, health care, tax those who profit the most. Those are ideas that are never going to go away.

Look around, Ramirez. Trump went a long way to killing the GOP. Covid-19 and the vision of Bernie Sanders are going to finish it off.

Ah yes… Bernie = Medicare for All = Socialized Medicine = Socialism = Communism = Lenin = Saddam Hussein, for some reason? Nevertheless, the revolution, such as it is, continues. It was Woodrow Wilson, working tirelessly for the League of Nations, who said: “I would rather fail today fighting for a cause that I know someday will succeed, than succeed in a cause today that I know someday shall fail.”

Lenin was a “communist”, not a “socialist”. The two philosophies are quite different. And neither is the “social democracy” espoused by Sanders.

Ironically, lots of socialist style programs are being used to bail out the economy from capitalism’s inability to deal with times of crisis.

It didn’t die, it just moved into the White House. All these socialist give away programs just to try and save Rump’s reelection bid. We couldn’t afford it when Bernie talked about it, but we sure can afford it now. What has changed?

Gee, the U.S. is going to loan and own most big business. And loan and own most of the small businesses that survive. Not much different than Russia or China.

Bernie “socialism” can’t possibly be any worse than the Pigs At The Trough Capitalism under which we currently live. I remember when being a 1%er meant that you were a member of a criminal motorcycle gang. They’ve apparently traded their motorcycles for Bentleys and chauffeurs.
