You get a Category 4 or 5 storm coming at you then you tend to forget your other problems. This is not going to be a fun season though it never is.

Arlo and Janis is the most grounded strip I read. It’s so consistently solid.

There’s no such thing as bad weather….just poor clothing choices.

Bit of Oregon drizzle this morning. The forecast says it could run all day, which is great because I sprayed nematodes in the backyard yesterday evening. They really help with the flea problem.

snowing in NH today, cold and rainy where I am. I am remembering how beautiful it was Easter Sunday here and how devastating the tornadoes where a few states over.

My interest in it is maintained by Jimmy J’s spot on depictions of what the interactions of a long term marriage are many times. Sometimes they are not even gender connected. My words can be Janis’ and my wife’s are Arlo’s as this one exemplifies.

My perspective is to enjoy the beautiful day and feeling of freedom it gives but keep the high walls in good condition. Always be prepared to retreat over the moat to the castle and pull up the drawbridge quickly!

Right now it’s the devil we don’t know. You can usually prepare for a storm, but this virus can hit without warning.

Storms you can see are easier to deal with than those smaller than an optical microscope can.

    …………………………………………………………………………………………

Despite the fact some don’t pay attention:

“It just came out of nowhere.” said some in New Orleans in 2005 after Katrina side-swiped them. My children, on the other hand, had tracked it for tweeks by then.
