Noticing the logo on Fennec’s phone. Is that supposed to be a “Raspberry Pi” model? =3 (Or strawberry, perhaps?)

When my mother died, I played Keali’i Reichel’s “Wanting Memories” over and over.

Songs can transport you back to times and places. Amongst the early albums I bought I can still remember where I was and even what the weather was doing. I got the Birthday Party by Jeff Lynne’s Idle Race in December. It was snowing. Pictures at an Exhibition by Emerson, Lake and Palmer during the summer holidays when it was cold and overcast. In the Court of the Crimson King by King Crimson in thick fog. Can’t remember where I left my clean pair of socks though.

Given the other songs mentioned here this is going to sound weird, but Pearl Jam’s “Black” always gets to me, especially these lyrics:

“I know someday you’ll have a beautiful lifeI know you’ll be a star in somebody else’s sky, but whyWhy, why can’t it be, oh, can’t it be mine?”
