When winter is over is another matter. You know that when you see it, too, but you see it in more or less distant hindsight.
Either way, if you’re a dog walker and you carry your plastic bags by the roll, there’s something very spring like about realizing you’re done having to take off your gloves and freeze your fingers getting the baggie open. It’s not Nature’s First Green is Gold, but it’s something.
