Again, Gorrell goes with that lie about giving away free stuff. You people really need to get your lies straight, as in quit lying altogether.

And knock it off with the hammer and sickle crap. You have no idea what socialism is, and the closest thing to anyone deserving of wearing that is Donald Trump with his Trump/Putin 2020 campaign, as we found out again today.

Bonespurs is giving more free stuff to corporates, just in drilling permits, than all social programs combined. Then throw in mining, grazing, tariffs. Hmm, how much cash going the other way with those trademarks for Ivanka from China?

An election is like an auction for a future heist. Party doesn’t matter. Politicians are motivated by power and greed. All duplicitous. Rich and powerful rarely pay. Politicians rarely pay. Statism, unbridled, is the enemy. We, working stiffs, are hosts to parasites. Parasites try not to kill the host but consume just enough that we do not pick it off and squish it.

And another attempt to propagate the ignorance of the average American who doesn’t know the difference between Democratic Socialism, Socialism and Communism. As sad tactic that gets us idiot elected officials like Trump.

As others have pointed out it’s not free stuff. Were the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq free? Are public schools free? Is regular medicare for people 65 and older free? No, they are things our country provides with our tax dollars.

medicare for all, universal child care, universal college, and forgiving student loan debt are things Americans could have if wealthy people were taxed fairly (or at all).

One of the groups that gets my tax dollars is Farmers, But to Gorrell It’s ok that Farmers get paid not to plant crops. They are Republican and It’s ok for federal tax money to go to bushiness like Archer Daniels Midland or Exxon as long as it doesn’t go to CITIZENS

Healthcare and Education aren’t “stuff”. So stop calling it “free stuff”. It would actually help a lot of people, who need it.

Bob is doing you all a favor by bringing up “free stuff”. It brings up a dialog about different kinds of “free stuff” which apparently most Americans seem not to be aware of.

Fair taxation of everyone to include the wealthy in order to guarantee an American has affordable access to public healthcare, public education, and public resources is just so un-Democratic and un-American. How dare he suggest no more corporate and wealthy family tax subsidies and free handouts.

What “free stuff”? Medicare isn’t free. Even “free” college education isn’t free. Of course, some things that the Great Orange One has said, e.g. in his State of the Onion address, suggest that he thinks that Medicare (and probably Medicaid) are “free”. They aren’t. Typical display of ignorance.

If you look at the tax bracket of people voting for Bernie, many of them won’t be eligible for this “free stuff”, many of them will be paying for it… yet they still support him, because they want the tax dollars that they pay to help people rather than go towards corporate welfare and wars.

The “free stuff” is going to the companies that make millions and billions and don’t pay ANYTHING in federal taxes. They take up more resources (trucks cause more wear and tear on roads, water usage, publicly educated workers, police and fire dept. protection for their multi-location companies) but many even get subsidies besides not paying anything in taxes.

What the RW is calling “socialism” is looking to combat income inequality. Basic needs like food, housing, healthcare and education should not be dependent on profit-motivated businesses. The “free stuff” is about revamping healthcare so that the money isn’t going to insurance and pharma CEOs, providing cheaper or free higher education at state schools (it was done in the past) and food and housing support when needed should be considered as more important than increasing the already bloated military.
