I am horrified by the thought that a billionaire three-term REPUBLICAN mayor of NYC with a history of racism (stop and frisk; support for redlining [discrimination by financial institutions in approving real estate loans based on acceptable neighborhoods]), sexism, opposing the minimum wage, expressing support for bank$ters during the economic crisis, and dismissing the urgency of massive income inequality could be seriously considered as a candidate for Democrats — who would literally be allowing a billionaire to buy the nomination.
He’s picking your pocket while your mind is all bound up in whether he’s changed substantially from being an obscenely over-rich plutocrat to being person who cares about everybody!
If it came down to Bloomberg or Biden, I’d pick Bloomberg. At least he doesn’t use terms like “lying, dog-faced pony soldier.” Plus, Mike really seems to have a knack for getting under Trump’s thin, orange skin.
Horrified as in trump? I will use Mikes money all day long to get trump out. Besides the fact that Mike has said he will support and run ads for whoever is the nominee.
I’d say we have quickly gotten down to him or a candidate, for whom I do not think the country is ready to back and who may very, very well lose to Trumpster Fire.
During Stop n Frisk the violent crime rate in NYC dropped by 70%. While profiling is alleged because 80% of those stopped and frisked were black and Hispanic, black and Hispanics accounted for over 95% of the violent crimes. 100% of the people that had a loved one killed or mugged supported stop and frisk [https://www.nytimes.com/roomfordebate/2012/07/17/does-stop-and-frisk-reduce-crime/stop-and-frisk-has-lowered-crime-in-other-cities]
I’ve talked with many who are going to hold their nose and vote for magic money Mike. Just so long as the Orange turd monkey goes away. If I try that my conscience would make me vomit and I would aphixiate. Come on people, can’t we find ANYONE with more integrity than those two? Or is the oligarchy has so much control that blue, red, or purple, the only winners are the billionaires who own us?
When I wonder about Americans being dumb enough to elect a republican billionaire, inevitably I look at the Trumpster and realize that “yes they are.” #Never Bloomberg
At this point the only thing that matters is that psychotic Trump be removed from office by the voters in November. The survival of the country is at stake.
An even more important thing is to take the Senate and keep the House. Get rid of McConnell and the Republican lickspittles this election, and even if Trump gets in on his gerrymandered and vote-suppressing platform, he will be constrained as he has not been before.
Please vote, but not for someone who would take the working man’s money and give it to those that won’t work. They are not the poor, they are THE LAZY.

It seems entirely unlikely to me…
