I am horrified by the thought that a billionaire three-term REPUBLICAN mayor of NYC with a history of racism (stop and frisk; support for redlining [discrimination by financial institutions in approving real estate loans based on acceptable neighborhoods]), sexism, opposing the minimum wage, expressing support for bank$ters during the economic crisis, and dismissing the urgency of massive income inequality could be seriously considered as a candidate for Democrats — who would literally be allowing a billionaire to buy the nomination.
