You’ll never give up asking “Chief” for a raise, eh? ;-D

I guess he CAN “win for losing”!

He could apply for a job at the other tea cozy company.

You don’t have to stay at a job you’re not satisfied with.

I nominate Dagwood for that category.

I believe Dagwood would have you beat, or be at least close.

Brutus, you’d come in third place.

Dagwood Bumstead would argue with that. He has been turned down for a raise as often if not more often. I think the “Blondie” comic strip probably started way before “Born Loser” did.

Both Brutus and Dagwood should be looking for new jobs. Just because the boss turns you down for a raise doesn’t mean you don’t need the money, and by turning you down, the boss has proven that he doesn’t care if you leave or not.

Actually Dagwood Bumstead has you beat on that one.
