Ramirez: Nowadays, comic conventions are big business, with recurring shows in every major American city. Comic book conventions in name only, the biggest shows include a large range of pop culture and entertainment elements across virtually all genres, including horror, animation, anime, manga, toys, collectible card games, video games, webcomics, and fantasy novels. Sounds like you’ve never attended a comic con.
Comic-Con is not just about comic books anymore. That feels like a loss — and a winhttps://www.latimes.com/entertainment-arts/story/2019-07-18/comic-con-2019-comic-books-fans
Almost 30 countries in the world hold comic conventions.
Comic-Con attracts attendees from over 80 countries and more than 2,500 media personnel from over 30 countries, putting San Diego at the center of an international spotlight. Comic-Con guests are expected to generate an estimated $149 million in regional impact to San Diego, with a direct attendee spend of $88 million.https://visitsandiego.com/2019/07/breaking-down-comic-con-2019-numbers
This Toon struck a nerve with the Costume in the Basement Crowd . Comic Conventions got started because Women ran around half naked the Big Bang crowd would never go to a Strip Club.
What did the people who cosplay ever do to you? And a lot less of them are virgins than the stereotypes would indicate. You need bravery to cosplay. That kind of bravery translates into other areas…of social interaction.
Of course, you don’t need bravery to judge other people. All you need for that is cowardice.
Almost all religions have some type of eternal reward that reflected its cultural base. Valhalla seems like the most fun to me; but I’ll take the 72 virgins over the Christian version.

We’re gonna get ‘evidence’ of that imminent plot any day now.
Or maybe a summary from Bill Barr.

It’s a sad commentary on society that you have to go to something like Comic Con to find virgins.{O.O}

Well, I was thinking something more like 72 virgin shoats (oink, oink) but I suppose it will do.

72 virgins = 72 Catholic nuns

Why the slam on Comic-Con? That just isn’t right. Ramirez needs to take his bias and prejudice and get a new job.

I think he will make a perfect villain to combat Captian America and his group of do-gooders. The first story can be titled Where’s my virgins?

So now we’re insulting any religious beliefs the man had. Well done, Ramirez; didn’t think you can get any lower.

It’s hard to reconcile the desire for 72 virgins with the concept of Eternity.
Won’t you get bored with the same 72 girls after a while? What do you do for the rest of eternity, which is bazillions of years after that?
