Petey sure has low self-esteem when it comes to socializing with others… specially his own parents, sister, and grandmother.

Giving a gift you intended for your girlfriend (in your dreams) to your kid sister may not be a situation full of pathos. But it would be kind of pathetic.

Be honest – how many of you didn’t know the exact meaning of a word that Petey just casually used at the end? (I love the advanced vocabularies that even the kindergarten kids have in this strip.)

With Petey, Pathos is an attempted Art form!

So – knowing little sisters (I had one), she will sneak back into his room when he is absent and play with it anyway…and probably end up breaking something!
