I was leaving a casino in Atlantic City one day when a bus full of “old ladies” pulled up across the street; each intent on getting to her favorite slot machine. I now know what a stampede looks like. I felt like a football player on the receiving end of a kick. I am not sure that granny would understand the signal for “fair catch.”

Shouldn’t the “stampede” light be red? I know it’s not the color of the cape that makes the bulls charge but the flapping motion, but I thought red was the stereotypical color that makes bulls charge.
