Reminds me of the difference between jazz in the States and jazz in Canada; a popular tune in the States is “Take the A Train”, while Canadians prefer “Take the Train, eh.”

“Eh” I understand, but the rest of the cartoon, not so much. Help?

Canada is really called CND, but if you ask them how to spell it, they say C, eh, N, eh, D, eh.

I really don’t mind the coffee but it could be a bit stronger. People in my ares seem to prefer McCafe.

The last time I bought anything at Tim Hortons was the last time.

The pastry was so full of artificial ingredients it was inedible.

I’m not a big fan of Timmy’s coffee, but there are 6 or 7 Tim Horton’s locations within 2 blocks of my office in Vancouver. Someone must be drinking the stuff! Their donuts aren’t bad, but I’m not a fan of their habit of putting “maple” on everything.

Just a bag of plain Timbits, please.

Main difference between New Yorkers, and Canadians is the position of the “Eh”…

New Yorker- “EH, quit leaning on my car!” Canadian – “Quit leaning on my car, EH!”

Then we go oot to watch sootherners trying too figure their miles per galloon using the data from oour petrol pumps.

It is somewhat of a myth that Canadians use the expression “eh” all the time. Dave Thomas and Rick Moranis popularized this misconception in their comedy sketches. It is not used any more than it is in many parts of the world.
